Morning Across the South Thompson

This view from along the Thompson River on the north shore of Kamloops, BC on an early summer's morning struck me as so serene and calming. There was scarcely a ripple upon the water. It surprised me to find no one sitting on the bench. I liked the foreground shaded from the rising sun while the distant hills were already awash in bright light.
