Overlander Bridge in Early Winter

The time of year was early November and the first dusting of snow was upon the distant hills. Overlander Bridge, a.k.a. “the blue bridge” is one of three that connect the south side of Kamloops with the north side. A paved walkway connecting Riverside Park with the bridge's walkway is was my vantage point for this watercolor painting. As in other images, I was taken by the contrast of the bridge lines splitting in half the otherwise curvy lines of water and surrounding landscape.
