Silt Banks Along East Shuswap
This image captures a small section of unique geology on the north side of the South Thompson River between the Lafarge bridge and Kamloops. Depending on whether moving east or west, in early morning or late afternoon, the shadows create beautiful contrasts in the nooks and crannies of these silt banks. They were once part of glacial Lake Kamloops thousands of years ago.
