Swallowtail on Lilac
Butterflies are not only beautiful, but also remarkable. A few show up in our backyard just as the lilacs are starting to bloom. In recent years, due to climate change, the blossoming of the lilacs is almost over by the time the swallowtails show up to feed on its nectar. What does the future hold for them and will they be able to adapt fast enough to survive?
