Winter Ranch
It was a bitter, cold day when I drove the length of Barnhartvale road which lies a half hour drive east of Kamloops. Snow lay deep on the ground and as I drove past this old barn, my eye was caught by the horse standing against the side of the smaller barn. He seemed to be trying to capture what little warmth he could from the winter sun on the logs and the sunlight itself.
